So I am someone who seriously struggles with dark eye circles <–thanks to my middle eastern heritage! I’ve had them my whole life and they are hereditary. They used to be a serious insecurity of mine. I felt as if I can never go without makeup. And while I still do my best to cover them with makeup, I’ve grown to accept them.

-Retinol: Helps smooth the appearance of wrinkles and lines while increasing moisture.
-Licorice Root Extract: Lightens and soothes irritation and redness.
-Caffeine: Helps with circulation

Why I like it:
So this is a gel, not a cream so it’s very lightweight and soothing on the skin. I apply it in morning and night and I love it. Usually, with eye creams I tend to get little bumps around my eyes called Milia, however, because this serum contains Salicylic Acid, I have not had this problem. I have definitely noticed my dark eye circles have lightened just a bit, and that for me is good enough. It smooths out my eye area and wears great under makeup, which is a major plus for me.
