Happy New Year Dolls!
I Hope you all are off to a great start in 2018!I have so much going on this month. My daughter, Jasmine, is starting preschool this month and she is turning four on the 15th. Somehow, I have to pull together a Wonder Woman party for a group of kids in the next couple weeks. Wish me luck!
So in November, during the Sephora VIB sale, I purchased some Drunk Elephant products because I have heard so many amazing things about this brand.
Drunk Elephant is a brand that relies on natural ingredients to solve and improve skin issues. According to their website: “We carefully removed the obvious toxins and controversial synthetics, like the PEGs, phthalates and chemical screens that are linked to internal health disruption. We then took it a step further and stripped away any ingredient that carried a potential risk to our external skin health, such as sensitizing, inflammatory essential oils.” cool stuff, right?
The first item is the C-Firma Day Serum. This serum is probably one of their most talked about products, so I just had to try it. You guys know Vitamin C is my favorite thing ever to put on my skin, eat and drink. Like anytime I can get extra vitamin C in or on me I’m there! Vitamin C is incredible for your skin. It helps even out skin tone, helps firm up the skin, and brightens skin, and helps treat UV damage.
What is it and What does it do?

What makes this serum interesting is that “C-Firma™ has a reservoir effect, which means it will stay active on the skin for up to 72 hours and cannot be washed or rubbed off. C-Firma™ has a pH level of 3.3, which Drunk Elephant believes is the key to a non-irritating, effective formulation that delivers real results.” — That’s seriously the coolest thing I have seen!
The Results?
I have been using this serum for almost six weeks now, and I make my husband use it too! LOL And I can honestly tell you guys I see a big difference in my skin, and ESPECIALLY in his skin. Our skin is glowing, radiant, brighter and feels so much firmer. I really love this serum. Again always make sure you wear sunscreen during the day to protect your skin.
The second item I purchased was the B-Hydra Intensive Hydration Gel. I have combination skin with an oily T zone. For years I have stayed away from anything hydrating afraid that my skin would be even more oily. However, that was such a bad idea. My skin was so unbalanced and would produce even more oil to compensate the lack of hydration it was getting. I have since changed my ways and started incorporating hydration, and dang! What a difference it has made. Night & Day, my friends!

Sounds promising right? But does it deliver?
Yes! I just love this product! It feels like it immediately penetrates into the skin and delivers serious moisture. I use this in the morning under my makeup, and It looks great! I also love to use this at night after I put on my serums because I feel like it helps every product to penetrate into the skin. This product is a gel, so it feels very light on the skin and doesn’t feel like something is just sitting on your skin.
