Hello Summer Must Haves

Happy Summer everyone. Summer is such a fun time to catch up with friends and spend time with family. I have certain essentials that I find myself reaching for every Summer.I will be sharing all my summer favorites with you!

Fashion:

First is a summer bag. I am so in love with this Saint Laurent Sac de Jour. I bought this a couple of summers ago, and feel like this is the perfect color for a summer bag. I love the color black. Like seriously, black is my everything. Adding color in my wardrobe both in clothes and purses was a little challenging  for me. However, I stuck to my commitment of adding more color and I could not be more pleased with how I feel and the response I have been getting from people around me. Isn’t it weird that people think you have better style when your wear color?

Slides are a HUGE trend this summer I think I picked up around 4 pairs and I want so much more. I am barely holding on to my self-control. LOL

I love simple dresses for the summer. I feel like nothing is better than wearing a simple short dress, I feel put together with minimal effort.

Obviously Hats!!! I love hats. First off, they protect your skin and look super chic with any outfit.

I love scarves. colorful scarves can complement almost ever outfit and can really pull together a look. Being a mom I go for easy, simple, and the appearance of looking put together lol.

Do I even need to say this one? Sunglasses! I am an avid  sunglass collector and they are a must for me year around

Beauty

When it comes to summer beauty, nothing beats a good ol’ tinted moisturizer (like my trusty Nars), but I also love Estee lauder double wear foundation mixed with my Embrolysse. Ahh the perfect sweat proof combo.

Bronzer is a must in summer and my favorite one has to be the Guerlain Terra-cotta Bronzing Powder in 5. However Nars Bronzer duo in both Casino and Laguna is a very close second, for that perfect summer glow

My go to summer blush is Charlotte Tilbury’s  Cheek to Chic in Estasy which is the most gorgeous natural pink.  It looks so natural and seriously beautiful on the skin. Another great option that packs more of a punch is Hourglass Diffused Heat which is a beautiful poppy pink shade.

Highlighter all day and night girrllllll!!! Give me that GLOWWW!  My favorites this season, hands down, have been Nars Banc de Sable, Dior Luminizer in 001, and Becca Opal.

In the summer, I really like to keep my eyeshadow pretty minimal. Lately I have been really enjoying the Makeup Forever Starlit powder and the Persona palette.

For body I love me some self tanner. Nothing makes me feel better than a nice golden tan and some body luminizer/ body oil to highlight my  decollate, shoulders, and legs.

I love summer!  This summer will be a little busy for my family. We are moving to another home and I am planning a couple of parties for my husband’s birthday. I cannot wait to share it all with you guys
