Hello my loves,
Hope everyone had an amazing weekend! It was Super Bowl Sunday yesterday anddddd The PATRIOTS WON THE SUPERBOWL!!!!! It was an incredible game! Ahh… I’m still so happy!
Anyways like I said in a previous post, I am going to NYC this week for Fashion Week/ Valentines getaway, so for actual Valentine’s day we will be at home. This will be our first Valentine’s day at home, so I wanted to set up something special. I already talked about what to wear in the last post, so let us tackle the other stuff
First, {food}
I have been thinking of what to cook that day that is easy, delicious, and out of the normal routine. I’m thinking Paella. It seems like a romantic go to dish in almost ever movie or show. lol
I found this recipe I think it should be good
looks bomb right?I also love making dessert, my husband’s favorite is Panna Cotta
Then you gotta get your wine or champagne to compliment a great meal! lol
{Set the mood}
Flowers and candles of course are the best ways to set the mood and create a good atmosphere. These are my favorite candles, they smell great and last forever. I also love LED candles, they set a really romantic atmosphere and they are safe and won’t burn down your house.
{Music}
The Skinny Confidential’s Blog really converted me to Bossa Nova so that is now my music of choice when I am lounging and/or trying to set a relaxing a mood.
Lastly, {Gift for him}
You guys honestly buying my husband a gift for Valentine’s day is the hardest thing ever. #firstworldproblems. Last year I got him Lakers tickets to one of Kobe’s last games. He loved it! This year I have nothing concrete! =( So I am thinking I can get him a couple different things. He is a big collector of sports memorabilia and he love his clothes,shoes, and cologne. So I am thinking of making a small basket and incorporating some of those things along with other favorites. Here are some options I am thinking about:
What are you plans for Valentines’ day? Am I missing anything? Let me know below
Stay Beautiful friends!
