Pat McGrath is one of the most celebrated make up artists in the industry today. She has been coming out with different makeup collections that have been truly innovative and unique in character. Unfortunately, I never had the opportunity to purchase past releases because there is so much hype and demand that it sells out almost immediately or the website crashes. But fear not friends, I finally got my hands on the Lust 004 everything lip kit. This kit has been all over social media, and I’m so excited to share it with you guys.
The Lust 004 Everything Kit came with 6 lipsticks, 3 glitter pots, 1 gold pigment , and a lip gloss.
The kits all come packaged in a plastic package with a ton of sequins. For someone who is obsessed with sparkle and sequins; I freakin’ love the packaging!
The formula of the lipsticks are very creamy, they are a little stiff in application but extremely pigmented. All of my lip swatches were done with one swipe. All the lipsticks had a matte- natural finish. Very comfortable wear and lasted about 6 hours on lips.
Let’s get into the kit, I will breakup the kits and tell you my thoughts. I tried to find dupes in my collection for these colors. I know that there are tons of dupes of there for these colors, however I only used my collection to find dupes.
First is the Flesh Kit.
Flesh 1 is a really pale nude. Possible dupes in my collection for Flesh 1 are Marc Jacobs Screen Test Lipstick, Mac PeachStock, and Loreal Jennifer’s Nude.
Flesh 2 is a beautiful dusty nude. Possible dupes are: Maybelline Touch of Spice and Mac Whirl.
Blood Kit:
Blood 1 is a deeper red with a hint of pink. Possible dupes are Marc Jacobs So rouge Lipstick and Anastasia Seraphine.
Blood 2 is a gorgeous vamp-y purple. Possible dupes: Mac’s Rebel with Mac Currant Lip liner .
Venom Kit
Venom one is a true blue red. Possible dupes, Anastasia American Girl, Mac Russian Red, Mac Ruby Woo
Venom 2 is probably my favorite: it is a beautiful plum-berry . Possible dupes Mac Hang up.
The glitter are all micro-fine and very easy to use. I applied with my fingertip. There was some fall out, but that is to be expected when working with glitter.
The Gold Pigment is insanely gorgeous and very versatile, can be worn as an eyeshadow , highlight, or can be mixed with the lip gloss to create the most intense gold lips EVER! its making me want to dress up like Cleopatra for Halloween just to rock these lips.

Final thoughts:
I actually really liked Lust 004. I appreciate the artistry in the kit and while I don’t think I will be rocking glitter lips everyday; It can be fun to do to a dinner or a party. The lipsticks are all very pigmented and extremely wearable.
