Welcome to another installment of Skincare Tuesday. Today let’s discuss SkinCeuticals C E Ferulic serum. SkinCeutials is a high trusted skin care brand, it also “has a mostly well-deserved reputation for producing serious-minded, research-driven products, several of which are centered on L-ascorbic acid (a form of vitamin C).” (paulaschoice.com).
One of my favorite products is their C E Ferulic serum. This serum is jam-packed with great benefits for your skin.
According to SkinCeuticals.com,
C E Ferulic features a synergistic antioxidant combination of 15% pure vitamin C (l-ascorbic acid), 1% vitamin E (alpha tocopherol), and 0.5% ferulic acid to strengthen skin’s natural protection from free radicals induced by environmental stressors such as UVA/UVB, infrared radiation (IRA), and pollution, which may lead to visible signs of accelerated skin aging. In addition to antioxidant protective benefits, C E Ferulic improves signs of aging and photodamage, the appearance of lines and wrinkles, and the loss of firmness, while brightening skin’s complexion.
Provides advanced environmental protection by neutralizing damaging free radicals
Visible anti-aging benefits, such as the improvement of lines and wrinkles, loss of firmness, and a brighter complexion
Awesome, right?! Also once absorbed, this “vitamin C serum remains effective for a minimum of 72 hours”.
It does not stop there, “Published in 6 peer-reviewed scientific journals, C E Ferulic is a vitamin C serum formulated under the Duke Antioxidant patent. The Duke Antioxidant patent ensures effective delivery of vitamin C to skin. In order for a vitamin C serum to be effective it must be formulated with pure l-ascorbic acid (vitamin C) at an acidic pH within the 2.0-3.5 pH range and have a concentration between 10-20%. SkinCeuticals is the only brand to formulate antioxidants according to these parameters.”
Now that is some skin care that you can believe in!
I have used this serum for over 7 months and I can honestly say I love it. It’s so lightweight and sinks right into my skin. It has really turned my skin around. My skin has really been radiant and clear. It is taking a little longer for my dark spots to fade, but I was expecting that; as hyper pigmentation is very difficult to cure. I would say that only true downside of this serum is the price, it is a little pricey. However, I would rather spend money on skin care than makeup. So if you are on the market to splurge on a serum that works; check out SkinCeuticals CE ferulic HERE
