Fall is upon us: leaves are changing colors, lips and nails hues are getting darker, and skin is getting dry and crack-y. I have found a couple different techniques and products to help get that smooth, soft, glowing skin all year around.
First things first: Exfoliating
Exfoliating is such an important process in getting soft skin. It sloths off dead skin cells and helps your moisturizer sink into the skin.
My favorite exfoliating tool is the Salux Nylon Japanese Beauty Skin Bath Wash Cloth/Towel. Seriously, this towel is amazing! It is super long (35 inches!) so it reaches all those hard-to-reach areas, it is textured so it is great for stimulating skin and blood circulation. If you have ingrown hairs; this will be a god send. So I use this in the shower everyday, and trust me the softness of your skin will shock you.
I bought my Salux Cloth from Amazon for $6. Check it out HERE
After exfoliating and getting out of the shower, moisturizing is key.
My favorite moisturizers are
The Josie Maran Whipped Argan Oil Body Butter
I love love Love this body butter. It feels so soft and leaves skin silky, smooth, and luminous. The argan oil really help keeps your skin moisturized and not greasy.
One Love Gardenia + Tea Body Serum
I got this in my Box of Style this season and I have been obsessed. I swear I feel like a supermodel in this. It moisturizes the skin unlike anything I have ever used, as if you just stepped out of the spa.
This is an oldie but a definite goodie. I got this when I was pregnant and this along with some other products (coco butter, shea butter and a couple other mixers) really helped keep stretch marks away. I still use it every night on my hips where stretch marks are still prevalent, but it also does an amazing job at moisturizing.
Well that’s all for SkinCare Tuesday. What are your tips for staying moisturized this time of year? Let me know below.
Stay Beautiful,
